マルティナハミルトンは彼女の夫マルコム、双子の娘アンナとエレンとブルー犬とLissadell、にアイルランド北西の小さな街スライゴーに住んでいます。

デザイン、制作まですべて一貫して店舗で行われ世界各国で販売されています。

Owletでは2016年、日本で初めて正規輸入店として販売をはじめました。

交渉をしていく中で彼女の人柄に心酔し、非常に感銘を受けたパートナーの一人でもあります。

そこで貝にインスパイアされた美しいデザインが心地の良い雰囲気を醸し出してくれます。

 

Martina Hamilton lives in Lissadell, Co Sligo with her husband Malcolm, twin daughters Anna and Ellen and Blue the dog. Martina continues to design new jewellery collections annually. She enjoys creating special pieces for her customers to commission in her Sligo studio.

2015 Showcase and Design & Crafts Council of Ireland Best New Jewellery Product Award for Bean Ri –She King Collection commissioned by the National Museum.

2014 Commissioned to create the annual Science Foundation of Ireland Trophy. The first of these was presented by An Taoiseach Enda Kenny to Dr Garrett A Fitzgerald on St Patrick’s Day in Washington DC in honour of his contribution to Science.

Commissioned by the National Museum of Ireland to create a jewellery collection Bean Ri inspired by artefacts in the Museum from the Battle of Clontarf. The Collection is available from the National Museum Shop.

Showcase and Design & Crafts Council 2014 highly commended for the Shell Rose Gold Jewellery Product.

Elected Board Member of the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland

2013 Commissioned to create a presentation Coin and cufflinks representing the W. B Yeats poem the lake Isle of Innisfree. An Taoiseach Enda Kenny presented the gift to US President Barack Obama on the occasion of his visit to the White House on St Patrick’s Day.

Launch of the W.B. Yeats Framed Print Collection by Spirit of Ireland

2012 Editor’s Choice Award for her Astral Pearl Collection at the International Jewellery Show in London.

Founder member of Sligo’s annual Yeats Day committee.

2011 Joined the Made in Sligo network.

Founded Craftfest Northwest now named the Lily&Lolly Craftfest in memory of Susan and Elizabeth Yeats.

2010 Opened the Hamilton Art Gallery.

2009 Launch of the Martina Hamilton Collection and the Spirit of Ireland Jewellery Brands at Showcase.

Showcase and Crafts Council of Ireland Best New Jewellery Product Award for the Nebula Collection.

2001 Attended US trade shows and began exporting her jewellery.

1989 Opened the shop and workshop The Cat & The Moon in Sligo, representing the best of Irish jewellery, fine art and handcraft.

First attended Showcase Ireland in Dublin

1988 Registered with The Assay Office and created The Cat & The Moon jewellery collection.

1986 Graduated Fine Art – Sculpture in IT, Sligo.
